The “Wish Maker’s 5k”, 1-Mile Walk, and Youth Run will be held on Sunday, August 7th, starting at the Paul E. Briese Park and ending at American Legion Post 1080. This event will benefit The Wish Upon a Star Foundation. This organization grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses in the Greater Will County area. The average wish costs between $4,000-$6,000. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to go towards granting our next wish. Come join us with your family in the wish making process by walking or running as a community.
